Another word I think is brilliant is "eucatastrophe" - I believe it was invented by Tolkien and is the opposite of catastrophe, so when everything is going rellay badly and then a sudden event turns it around and things become good

Cheers guy, i love both of those words particularly the inversion of catastrophe which shows how moods can switch because of even the most minor thing.
